What is
Mandala Yoga?
Mandala Yoga consists of two types of Yoga;
Yin & Vinyasa.
Yin Yoga begins and ends this class with stillness, holding poses for 3-5 minutes. These poses we hold are made to help bring are awareness to groups of muscles we will work with throughout the practice, as well as, the specific element in which we will sense into, and how this can serve us both on and off the mat.
Vinyasa Yoga is a flow of movement initiated by the breath. If feeling good in our bodies, we may take one breath per movement - (but this isn’t always possible so don’t worry!!) In Mandala, we use the Vinyasa flow to turn 360 degrees around our mat and repeat the same sequence all the way around so we can really get into the groove of our bodies and rhythm.
